This is an appeal from a conviction for kidnapping for extortion under Article 1177a, Vernons Ann.P.C. Appellant and his brother Woodrow Ransonette were jointly tried before a jury which found them guilty and assessed punishment for each man at five thousand and five (5005) years in the Texas Department of Corrections.
